My wonderful, encouraging, life-coach and sweet friend Holley Gerth is introducing me officially to the (in)courage community today, in my new role. Behind the scenes? I’m a little nervous about it all, to be honest. Or maybe a lot nervous. Plus a little scared. Here’s a sneak peek of the post – I’d love for you (please? pretty please?) to head over to (in)courage today and read the rest..and maybe leave a little love, if you feel so inclined?
(in)courage began more than four years ago as a God-sized dream in the hearts of Stephanie Bryant and me {Holley}. We watched this little space on the web grow in ways we never thought possible and welcome in women from all around the world. When God asked Stephanie and me to move on to other adventures, he provided Lisa-Jo Baker to step in for the next season. Since then (in)courage has launched the (in)RL conference, partnered with the Bloom book club, begun (in)courager groups and much more.
And as (in)courage keeps growing, God just keeps bringing along the people needed to turn vision into reality. Today I get to share with you about the newest member of the (in)courage team, Crystal Stine. She’ll be joining us as Editorial and Marketing Manager. That’s a fancy way of saying she’ll be watching over the words around here, helping the team, and continuing to connect with you in lots of wonderful ways.

Do you know what I’ve counted as blessings this past week? Knowing that each of you come with me to work every day. That you cheer for me, pray for me, tell me honestly when you might even be a little envious but then? You keep showing up. And I need it – because that word God gave me for 2014? Well. He likes to keep reminding me why He’s the one who truly wears that title. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve felt overwhelmed. I’m pretty sure I’ve spent at least 10 minutes staring at my computer, wondering what to do next.
And I can’t wait to wake up every morning and do it again. Because in my errors and faults, He shines. When it all comes together, He gets the glory.
Now it’s your turn to link up! I’d love for you to invite a friend to join us as well – the more the merrier!

I already said this to you about this amazing new adventure and season, but YAY God! And yay you. I look forward to more words, stories, and God sized dreams happening! XO
God bless you in your new role! I’ve linked up with your Behind the Scenes and think it is such a great idea to help bloggers live authentically and encourage others. Thank you!
I’m linking for the first time because of the lovely faithfulness of Tonya. 🙂 That’s so exciting about (in)courage, and how lovely to have started something that has brought encouragement to so many.
Crystal, congratulations!!!! I saw the (in)courage post just about an hour ago and am so happy for you. We’ve interacted a bit through (in)couragers, but I had no idea all that you’d gone through in the last year. Reading your story was incredibly humbling and inspiring. To God be the glory! And a huge thank YOU for sharing it so openly and boldly and letting Him unfold this story for all of us to see. I’m standing right where you were a year ago – stripped of a career in marketing and publicity that I’d made an idol, with a serious dream to glorify Him, but can I be honest … I have let fear dictate so many of my decisions and totally shut me down. Your leap of faith and all that He has done with it are truly inspiring. Congratulations again! I hope you’re feeling totally wrapped in excitement and joy today as we celebrate with you.
Wahoo!!! Congrats!! 😀 I may or may not have just actually said “yay” and clapped out loud… 🙂
Congrats my friend! Super excited for you and with you! Praying as you fully transition into this New… trusting He is making your OneWord true!
waaaahoooo! Congratulations! so very happy for you.
thanks Sharon!
I’ll join Christine in her virtual happy dance…friend, I am truly SO happy for you! Thank you for the beautiful light you are in this community. I love that you’re here. 🙂 xo
that settles it..the next time the three of us are in the same room, a happy dance will commence.
If only we could post happy dances!! Ha! (Wait, maybe it’s best we don’t!). What a beautiful story of redemption and faith even when it looked bleak. Love your journey and all it teaches us about God.
Ahem…YouTube…you can totally post a happy dance 😉
