When the words bring tears and there is something inside my heart that heals a little.
When she comments that those words? They were the ones God wanted her to read today.
When the email finally arrives, a door opens, an offer extended.
When she walks up to me at work and says that my words? She can’t stop reading them.
When he tells me that this? This place? It’s my ministry.
When I waffle over whether what I write is good or awful and she tells me she struggles, too.
When my sweet God Sized Dream friends stop by and cheer me on.
When I can find words that encourage you, brave friends.
When God reminds me that He redeems. Refines. Renews. Restores.
When I can hug necks of friends met online in real life.
These things? They bring me joy.
