Did you know that there is an exclusive Write 31 Days 2015 challenge shirt you can buy? There is! And she’s pretty and fun and a little sassy, if I do say so myself. Plus, for only $15, you can brag about your bravery in affordable style!
It’s my way of saying “thank you” to everyone who has committed to the writing challenge this year, because it’s one of the bravest blogging “yeses” you can say. It takes dedication, planning, perseverance and a heart that is willing to move forward with grace on the days that are hard.
Because creating and producing content for 31 days straight can be hard. I’m honestly not sure how I’m going to do it this year, but I’m raising my hand and saying “yes” to the challenge, because I know what it’s done for me in the past.
By this time in the year I’m usually in “produce content” overload and this challenge is a way to bring the fun back into my blogging and push me to new and unique places. It’s where I learned that I really love creating videos, and now you can’t get me off of Periscope!
If you’re on the fence about joining the challenge, let me encourage you. There are no word count police out to tell you that you aren’t doing enough. If we’ve learned anything from Nester over the last 6 years, shouldn’t we know by now that “it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful?” Commit to it. Give it your all. And know that you aren’t doing one single day of this challenge on your own.
There are over 1,000 women in the Facebook group who are full of encouragement, generous wisdom, and so much love. And there are even more who will do the challenge in October right alongside you. And I’ll be here, every step of the way, with tips and resources of my own to make it as fun and easy as possible!
Say a brave blogging “yes” and join us? Then grab your shirt & share with a friend!
I’ve never “done writing” (other than school etc) & don’t consider myself a writer per se. I haven’t even used a journal in over a decade, but I felt God saying something about it maybe as early as February. But I’ve been busy. Well, & thought He must be wrong to whisper that to me. But..I keep thinking it. So maybe this is the push I need, the time to begin.. .Do I have to blog it? I don’t have a blog. Like I said, not a writer! How does the challenge work? Is paper okay or online? If writing needs to be online, where do we start?
Hey Tiffany! It would be great to have you join us! It is a blogging challenge, and you can find all the answers to your questions at write31days.com – including info on the “resources” page to help you start a blog! If you want to write without blogging, that’s fine, you just won’t be able to join the other writers who link up their series when the challenge starts in October.
