I mean, who wouldn’t want to join a book club with that cutie? I might be a little biased ๐
The more I think about all the marketing and planning and promoting that is about to happen for Holy Hustle, the more I’m convinced that the next few months need to be a whole lot less about me. I want to celebrate women who are using their gifts to honor God as they lift other women up. If I have a book launch party, I want it to be a place where women can come and be encouraged, have fun, maybe do some shopping that helps other women who work around the world, worship, and leave not just with a book, but knowing that the work they do is so very valuable to God’s kingdom (open to ideas & suggestions for that!).
So for the next two months, can we do something together? Can we read Rachel Hollis’ book, “Girl, Wash Your Face” and invest in one another a little bit? We’ll have to be okay looking honestly at some of the lies that we’ve believed for FAR too long and be willing to do something to change. It will require commitment, planning, and choosing to be intentional about community. And it will require us to have fun ๐ Because Rachel Hollis is a DELIGHT.
Are you in?ย
We’re going to just jump right in, so go grab a copy of the book (this is an affiliate link to Amazon if you want to click that because YAY) and read chapters 1-3 for next Monday.ย We’ll unpack what we read, there will be some discussion questions, you know – the usual book club kind of stuff.
Here’s the rest of our schedule – including days you’re going to want to be sure you follow me on Facebook so we can have a live chat!
There might also be some book-ish related announcements throughout as we come up with fun ideas, so keep an eye out for those ๐ย I really hope you’ll join me – and please, feel free to invite friends! Nothing would make me happier than knowing that some of you are gathering in real life at coffee shops and in your homes and doing this book study with your people.
See you next week!
Did you already notice: “Facebook Live March 15” for each week listed in the schedule? Just tryin’ to help! I get confused so easy!! ????????
