There aren’t many women who appreciate the awesomeness of the faux hawk – but Amanda White is one of them. I promise we only mention it very briefly in our chat today!
I’ve noticed recently that Madi has such a love for Jesus and an amazing ability to recall songs and Bible verses about Him. She loves to read Bible stories to her stuffed “friends” when she pretends to have circle time, and we’re always catching her in the back of the car singing some little song about Jesus. He is chasing her heart, and she is responding in the most beautiful toddler way.
But I don’t always know how to pour into that for her. How do we add entertainment – books, music, movies – to our lives that Matt and I like but that we can view through the lens of scripture for her? It’s not at all my strength – but it’s totally what God made Amanda to do. With her incredible children’s ministry background, ability to turn ANY object into a scripture lesson (I’m tempted to test her sometime), and a love for the Lord, she is teaching me how to impress God’s Word on my kiddo.
And I would definitely encourage you to watch this one even if you aren’t in the motherhood stage of life right now – what she says and how she views life through this God-lens encouraged and inspired me in my own faith walk, and I know you’ll just love listening to her! {email subscribers, click here to view}
