Is it normal to be so emotional about a blogging conference before I’ve even gone and experienced it?
Probably not.
Unless you’re me, and you react to the presence of the Holy Spirit with tears and you’re going to Allume. The women who will be walking through the doors of the hotel later this week hold my heart. They speak my language. They get it.
They get me.
I’m blessed. God has put me in the path of women who shine His grace and redemption in 140 characters, in Disqus comments and direct messages. Through emails, video chats and Twitter parties.
This blog might be small, without a “niche” and filled with imperfection. I don’t desire to make money from it and I’m not sure I ever have anything to say that hasn’t been said before, and said better. But it’s mine. And these women who blog and love Jesus and are coming to PA this week? I can’t wait to hug them and speak into their hearts how they’ve changed mine.
God is going to do something pretty amazing this week. I can’t wait to see what it is.

Oh, we get it 🙂 It’s such an amazing community and I love that you are open to heading Him. Last year I wasn’t quite as open – this year I’m striving to be!!

Oh how right you are! I’ve been feeling a little lost lately amongst my friends – no one else “gets” it, but I’m not even sure I get it. Praying God shows me what he wants me to do with my blog! And excited to hug and love on you and other women who are like-minded, soul-connected kindreds before we’ve even met! 😀
