My Best Friend

Ah! We look so young in that picture, don’t we? 

Feeling the love for hubs today – he’s planned a surprise getaway for us tomorrow, our first overnight without the little girl and I am SO excited! So I thought I’d brag a little and give you my 10 favorite things about my hubby:

1. He’s my best friend

2. He is the most amazing father

3. He makes me laugh (recent inside joke: “pillow pockets”)

4. He loves God

5. He puts his family before everything else

6. He uses his talents & gifts to glorify God through music

7. He encourages me – even when he doesn’t really “get” why I’d want to go room with a bunch of strangers at a blogging conference 😉

8. He gets up in the middle of the night with our girl so I can sleep

9. He cooks. Cleans. Does dishes. And laundry. I’m spoiled.

10. He makes me feel beautiful
