31 Days of Encouraging Conversations: Lara Williams

Buckle up, sisters. You’re about to receive a WORD from Lara today. Listen, sometimes God puts these random thoughts in my head and then I write a blog post about it. And then the next day I’m scheduled to record a video with Lara and God brings it all together. It’s the craziest thing and I love it so much!

Lara and I talk today about living in the gifts God has given us. It’s so easy to look around at what everyone else is doing and try to assign all the opportunities to ourselves. But God has created each of us so uniquely with our own gifts and passions that it’s just foolish and doing some labor in vain to try to work in our own agenda and think our way is better than His.

So we’ll encourage you if you’re at the starting point of trying to identify the gifts God has given you, and why we think feeling energized has something to do with it. We’ll also encourage you if you’re in the thick of it and living in your gifts with some of our own stories and practical applications. And for those of you who feel like you’ve maybe gotten off course? We’ve got a word or two for you as well. I’m all fired up just typing these notes knowing what you’re going to hear, so …. email subscribers, you know the drill {click here to view} and let’s get to it!

Tips & Tools

  1. Stay in communion with God
  2. Seek Him throughout the day
  3. Stay in community with others

I loved this Crystal and Lara… Thank-you for having this candid conversation and for sharing it, today. (And, I just have to say, I loved the end…with Lara and kids. The piano. Everything. So normal!) I was encouraged by all of it. I’m a newbie blogger/writer, and this just hit home. So thanks again, Crystal.
