You might have figured out by now that I love community. Building it, being in it, watching it grow and glorify God. This space of mine? God has put a dream on my heart to make it a place for women to not only feel like they belong, but FIND ways to belong.
Curating community.
But sometimes…sometimes community is formed in the face of tragedy. When like-hearted sisters in Christ join forces around the world to support their own – to dig deep into the sofa cushions and prayer closets and start living what they believe.
I have watched the communities I belong to lift up a rallying cry around one of my favorite organizations, Freeset. I know you know how to click on a link, so just go ahead & learn all about them. You’ll be so glad you did.
The other night they lost an astonishing number of their bags in a tragic plane crash. Devastating, y’all. For the women who made them, this is their living. Their life. Their ministry. I’ve committed to give hope -will you?
Logan did an amazing job explaining this over on the Pure Charity site, so I’m going to let you go over there and read about Freeset, the women, the 13,000 bags lost in a plane crash and how you can help them.
And then go here? And buy this shirt and support the families of the pilots who died in the crash? Because it’s not about bags. Just like it’s not about platform or blog stats or {fill in the blank}. It’s about people.
