God has blessed some women with the ability to have great conversations with women face to face.
God has blessed others with the desire and heart to help women whom they will never meet in real life.
God has blessed my wife with the need and ability to do both.
Crystal, my amazing wife, has been called to share her love of God with people she encounters throughout her day, but also those that she meets online. She has used her blog to share the experiences of her own life to affect those around her. Her simple words can uplift the most beaten down soul, but is also able to cause others to laugh out loud. I know this because I often find myself wandering over to her blog. I may use the manly excuse of not finding anything to read on ESPN.com, but the truth is, I want to see what God is doing in my wife’s life. I want to see how He is stretching and molding her to be what He desires her to become.
Her blog is an incredible way to show God’s love for others, but it is also a testament to how God will use people to do His work on earth. I am only able to see so much of her throughout our busy lives together, but am able to experience what she is going through by reading her blog. As I read, I learn more about her character and more about God’s love for me and others.
While husbands are not her “target” audience, I still find what she is saying to be applicable to me and my life. The impact she has on other women must be so much greater than I can imagine or know. Her “after hour” online parties, has been another way for her to connect with other believers that share her desire for uplifting women in need of God’s love and kind words. As she does this, she continues to act with humility and a servant’s heart as she continues to seek God’s will for her life.
My prayer for you Crystal is that you will continue to seek God’s will for your life as you reach women across the globe for Christ.
Thanks for the warm fuzzies Matt 🙂
