You can’t go after your dreams alone.
I know it’s probably not what you want to hear right now. It’s so much easier to find a way to do it on your own, to push forward at your own pace, not being held back or down or questioned by anyone.
You need a team.
A village of women who know your dream. The ones you can email at midnight, the ones you can share your TRUE dream with – the one that might be too scary to share with the whole world.
The women who will lovingly push you beyond your comfort zone to take baby steps.
The ones who will cheer for every success without jealousy.
The women who never make you feel silly, or insecure, or like a failure.
Sweet friend, pray for women to surround you with encouragement and support. Don’t get me wrong – my husband is my biggest fan and my best friend, but there are just times when you need an objective perspective to keep your feet moving.
It’s hard for me – I’m usually the encourager, so to reach out and ask for someone else to fill the gap? It’s hard. It takes trust. It takes prayer.
But in the end? You really can’t do it alone.
Jesus sent his disciples out in pairs for a reason. God created Eve for Adam for a reason. There are just some things that we are not meant to do all by ourselves.
