Happy Friday! Oh, friends. It’s Friday. It’s been a long week around here. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for some fun and relaxing and definitely a nap. But until naptime comes around, at least we can chat about some of our favorites from the week!
Read
This post from Liz Curtis Higgs – Liz is a phenomenal story teller, and this one? It had me so delighted (and thinking of the scene from Veggie Tales where the sheep keep tipping over).
This recipe for Smoked Gouda Grilled Cheese – ok, so recipes aren’t really something you read, but we made these last week and loved them! Love a healthy alternative to comfort food. Even if my child refused to eat it, even though she ate a huge grilled cheese at a restaurant earlier in the week. Toddlers, yo.
Watch
This beautiful “Moms Empower Us” video – this is why I workout and take care of this one body God has given me.
The Influence Creative Summit replay – if you didn’t catch it live, you can still join the network and watch the reply. I didn’t know how much my heart needed the words of these phenomenal women. Plus you get all kinds of fabulous gifts each month, like a print of the painting Britt created live!
Wear
These beautiful sandals from Toms – super comfortable (great arch support!) and surprisingly affordable! I’ve been wearing them non-stop since I received them on Mother’s Day.
“Strength in Surrender” flowy tee from Cross Training Couture – I’ve been following this company on Instagram for awhile but fell in love this week with their limited edition “Strength in Surrender” shirt. Their apparel is beautiful and truth-filled.
This swimsuit – Ok y’all. Let’s be real. If my toddler knew how to swim on her own there’d be no way I’d offend the world with my blinding white thighs. But since I’m kind of required to .. you know.. keep her safe, I went with this one from Walmart. On sale. Red polka dots. It has potential. I’ll let you know how it turns out but don’t expect to see photos.
So what are you loving this week? Any favorite blog posts, Instagram photos or YouTube videos I should check out?
