This past month has been just a little bit crazy. I desperately want to spend more time writing on these pages, but by the time I’m done spending all my creative energy on other projects, I just sit and stare at the blank white page. Maybe this month will be different. I can hope, right? (some affiliate links included)

If you don’t already follow these three Jesus loving, amazing, talented women, you should probably go ahead and fix that now. They inspire me daily, have been generous with sharing their wisdom with me, and I love everything they’re doing. I kind of want to be them when I grow up.
Listen
Arc Stories Podcast – So I heard about this podcast while listening to another podcast (I wish I could remember which one). It’s fascinating listening to incredible storytellers – they paint a picture with their words in a way that works surprisingly well on a podcast. If you start with any of them, start with Shelly’s story on “nine to five.” I laughed and cried and simply felt honored to have heard his story.
Read
Wild & Free by Jess Connolly & Hayley Morgan – Oh y’all. This book. I need you to go over to Amazon now and pre-order it because you need this book in your life. The line on the cover about “being too much and not enough” is RIGHT where I am. As a wife, mama, co-worker, writer, creative … yes. Just. Yes. Go get you some of this inspiration and let’s get weird. Plus, look at these fantastic pre-order goodies:
For Fun
The Skimm – I like my world news in small, sarcastic news bites with witty headlines. The Skimm sends a free email to your inbox in the morning so you can stay up to date on what’s happening around the world, with a few fun tips on phrases you might need to know to keep up with the kids these days.
Mead Travel Journal – I grabbed this new journal at Target the other day because I needed a way to keep track of my coaching business. Who I’ve chatted with, who I should follow up with, new sales & deals that are coming up, etc. It’s got pockets and dividers and stickers and it’s just fun. And I’m a sucker for an office supply.
Beachbody Club Challenge Pack (and “Move & Shake” invitation) – Speaking of this coach business & upcoming deals, I’m really excited about one of the new challenge pack offers – the Beachbody Club Challenge pack!
The Club and Shakeology Challenge Pack is the first Challenge Pack that gives you 24/7 streaming access to hundreds of workouts, including the chance to tap into Beachbody’s most popular programs, like P90X®, INSANITY®, and 10-Minute Trainer®, from anywhere you have an Internet connection. Take your Beachbody On Demand workouts with you anywhere you go and push play anytime you like, while fueling your body with Shakeology, so you can get the best possible results…even faster.
You get everything you need to get your best results:
- Your first 30-day supply of Shakeology—the superfood protein shake that helps give you energy, reduce cravings, and accelerates your fitness results—delivered on Home Direct, our monthly autoship program. *‡

My favorite part of On Demand are the “Challenge Du Jour” workouts from the best trainers at Beachbody. A lot of these are original workouts you won’t find anywhere else!

In the next week or so I’m going to share a special Mother’s Day gift Friday Favorites – I’d love to know what your favorite gifts have been to give or receive for Mother’s Day!
I had so much fun clicking today – and to top it off, when I clicked on the Target link, they told me they ship to Canada now! I’ve been mourning our loss of Target for a year now, so that just made my day. And this is probably the most random comment I have written in ages. Ha!
