She has been called every name under the sun.
Princess
Unworthy
Needy
Insecure
Controlling
And a whole list that aren’t friendly enough to share in writing.
She has fallen from glory.
A lost job
A lost community
Identity lost
A failure
She has failed.
Never kind enough
To do lists that are never done
Yelling instead of grace
Selfish instead of selfless
She?
She is tired of living like the thoughts of others – some decades old – define her. She is tired of being insecure. Tired of doubting and questioning and feeling like “enough” is never enough.
She is claiming her true identity.
Daughter of the King
Imperfect but perfectly loved
Living under grace
Enough

Visiting from FMF today 🙂 I am seeing a common theme among several posts, mine included, that many of us are stuck somewhere between our expectations of ourselves and the reality of insecurity and fallibility. Bless your heart for expressing your thoughts through your words. And thank you for reminding me that I am “enough”.
