Five Minute Friday
1 vlog
1 giveaway
1 crazy God Sized Dream
4 jobs
4 email addresses
11 emails in 3 minutes
4320 email in one day
60,480 emails in 2 weeks

Ok…that might be a slight exaggeration. I really did get 11 emails in 3 minutes the other day though, which made my husband’s jaw drop when he was using my phone to check ESPN. I wish I could say that was unusual, but really? That was probably on the low end of my emails that day πŸ™‚ So if this post doesn’t make any sense, those numbers might be why. Also? A toddler.

Pass the chocolate.

Red. Have you ever stopped to think about a color that would best define your personality? The one that has the descriptions that best fit YOU like maybe you were supposed to be a special hue in the Crayola box? If I had to choose a color to describe me, it would most definitely be red.

I’m Irish enough to believe there is a fiery red head deep down inside, even if my German roots have taken over this brunette faux-hawk. I’m emotional, empathetic, feisty, and have been known to stand my ground a time or ..ahem..two…in the name of justice. Or just as a driver in Philly πŸ˜‰

It’s the color that makes me feel like ‘me’ when I wear it…and the “me” I want to be. Fun. Brave. Creative. Interesting. Unexpected.

Linking up with Lisa-Jo Baker and the Five Minute Friday gals today. Cheering big for an early prompt posting πŸ˜‰

Have you heard of The Color Code? It’s a book about personality types that puts personalities into colors. Of course, from what I already know of your personality, you’d be White according to that book. πŸ˜‰ But my friend Everly (who will be at Allume this year!) has Synesthesia and it’s fascinating to hear her color take on things. πŸ˜‰

I have a pair of shiny red patent leather shoes that make me feel happy, and lots of kitchen stuff in a deep, dark red–I don’t wear red very often, but you’re right, it’s a happy, unexpected color :).

Are you even close to serious about the numbers of those emails? Mercy girl! You are too cute. And for some reason, when I think of you, I think of orange. You seem so happy and bubbly and your smile makes me smile. And they say orange and red together are appealing and cause people to buy products in that color combo! LOL So there you go. You are a great color combo. ~

Oh my! Love this! I’m lovin’ what red does to people. I love that it gets some all fired up like a ninja (you), and others want to shy away from red’s glaring spotlight (me). You are definitely red. πŸ™‚ Super fun post, Crystal!

You sound like you are so much fun, I can’t wait to hopefully meet you at Allume!! And I think for me I would choose yellow. I like to be happy and encouraging with a constant smile!! Maybe one of those glitter crayons to show my creative side!

Oh yes, you’re red fo sho! Have you heard about people who have Synesthesia? I know Emily Freeman is. She sees letters and numbers as colors. I wonder what you’d be? I find it fascinating and also, it’s like 2 am right now so I really need to go to bed because yes I am hijacking your comments and having my own party here. Here’s a link in case you didn’t have enough to do. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia

Ah, yes, and how we all love your “red” personality. Me? I’m more of a puce. Isn’t that like a Oscar the Grouch kind of green? No? Yes? Ok, really I’m a yellow I think with shades of purple. Is that not a possible color combination? Well, it is late and I missed the fmfparty so now I am just partying it up in your comment section as I am prone to do. Thank you and goodnight.

Apparently I don’t know you that well, because I saw you as more of an orange or a blue πŸ˜‰ Man, I was way off! But I want to know the red you… the fiery, passionate, creative and courageous you! So if I tackle you at allume with a huge hug, can I just chalk that up to the red aries in me? πŸ˜‰

I can totally see you as a red! Me, I’m the calm, quiet and soothing sky blue. That was always my fav in the big 64 box of crayolas. Never realized what a great life metaphor that box could be. All those colors, hanging out together. It does take them all the make the picture pretty πŸ™‚
