Once Thanksgiving is over, we start decorating for Christmas.
And by “we” I mean I ask hubs to haul all the boxes from the garage and then he pretends not to mind that I’ve just covered the house in pounds of glitter.

I took time to clear off our bookshelves – it’s so much nicer to have less clutter!

We don’t have a mantel. Or any flat surface that my daughter can’t reach. So..tada!…the ledge above our door is now our “mantel.”

Hey – what fun!! I love the *mantle* over the door – at our old house we had a space above our main door and I did the same thing 🙂 I miss that door around Christmas time!
