Once Thanksgiving is over, we start decorating for Christmas.
And by “we” I mean I ask hubs to haul all the boxes from the garage and then he pretends not to mind that I’ve just covered the house in pounds of glitter.
I took time to clear off our bookshelves – it’s so much nicer to have less clutter!
Though I could use a few Christmas Red Letter Art prints 😉
I also threw away our years-old autumn stick arrangement & added a Christmas twist to it 🙂
We don’t have a mantel. Or any flat surface that my daughter can’t reach. So..tada!…the ledge above our door is now our “mantel.”
I’m not “in” love with it, but I do like using that space for decorations & stockings

Getting ready to go get a Christmas tree!
This photo melts me. They’re holding hands. Love.
Madi walking with her daddy & pappy toward Uncle Dan to get our tree 🙂
The tree! It’s up! Literally. On our dining room table. I hope you didn’t want to come over for a meal any time soon 😛
I made a wreath the other night.
I think it’s fun 🙂
Are you decorated for Christmas yet? What craft projects do you like to do during the holidays?
Eclectic decor is the best kind there is!

Hey – what fun!! I love the *mantle* over the door – at our old house we had a space above our main door and I did the same thing 🙂 I miss that door around Christmas time!
