Some days I have deep, inspirational, personal stories to share here. And then there are days like today where I just want to share a bunch of photos and give you a sneak peek of what our life has been like lately.
Hubs is counting down (10 days!) to the end of the school year and the start of summer vacation. Not to mention a bunch of shows for his band (if you’re in the area, come see them!) and I’m counting down to quite a few really fun trips this year. In the middle of it all is trying to make sure we do some fun (but affordable) activities with the kiddo this summer (ideas are welcome..also..could I use a few more parenthesis in this post?), balance all our jobs, and leave room for God to continue to open some very specific doors that we’re praying over constantly.
On to the photos!
A lie. First, a video. If you can decipher what she says in her song, I will send you a gift. She bops around all day singing this & we have no idea what it means.

Clearly loving her time on stage at her daycare performance. Glares galore. Bet you can’t spot her 😉 |

I’m writing the Word as I do HelloMornings this session…loving it. 6 chapters of John, handwritten! |

The benefit of getting up early. Beautiful sunrise. |

I anticipate a lot of this over the summer 🙂 |

And a teeny tiny fractured thumb, from getting it squished in a door at daycare. |

My favorite. Her chilly ice cream face 😉 |

Okay…really? It’s like I’m seeing double. There’s “there’s the smile” and then the pix of you and your sis, bottom left, you? Cuz it sure looks like your little darling. Oh these are the good old days, Crystal. Fun Fun Fun!
Love this, especially the “oh, no!” I also just signed up for the VIP entry to ZESTT and sent 3 friends emails to get the $10. That is sooo my style! Thanks for sharing all of this!
So cute !! I miss mine being that little but then again I also enjoy them being able to take care if themselves. Have fun with her and the hubs this summer.
Such fun! I love photo dump posts – some times they are more real that the posts that we craft so carefully, mulling over every single word!
I love this post Crystal! (I love all your posts!) By the way, your daughter is saying, “my mom is a rock star and she taught me how to stack these K cups!” 🙂
