God has been faithful in my life.
He has never abandoned me.
Not even when it felt like He was millions of miles away.
Not even when I yelled or cried out in heartbreak.
I have pursued Him furiously
Like my life depended on it
I have shut Him out
Deciding it was easier to simply pursue the life I knew I could control
God has been faithful in my life
I have Ebenezer stones – not physical ones – but in my heart
Memories of His sweet pursuit
His faithfulness, the answered prayers
He has been with me in times of struggle
and darkness
And when the light finally shines in my soul again
He is radiant
The music brings me back
Always music
To close my eyes and worship
My prayer is that Madison will grow up seeing her mommy worship
As her daddy plays on stage
That she would see that we are putting God first
And that we will fight for her and pray for her
I pray for a legacy of worship
