9 Months

Everyday faith

Ignore the part that repeats. iPhone wouldn’t let me send it as all one video & I’m too lazy to crop that part out.

Our little girl is 9 months old.
I’m not sure I’m ok with it.

She went from FINALLY figuring out how to crawl to deciding she would really rather stand all the time.

And now that she spends ALL THE  MINUTES pulling herself up to stand (including using mommy’s pant legs…which gets scary when mommy is wearing yoga pants), she has now figured out how to go from sitting to standing. With nothing to hold on to. Just stands up.

It’s too much for my heart, I tell you.

We are baby proofing.

What else…oh she has 6 teeth. Including two cutie front chicklet teeth with a gap between them. I thought gummy smiles were cute, but now when she smiles with teeth?

Melt.

We have survived Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease, teething, some growth spurts, our first night away, and learning to go to bed without being rocked/fed to sleep.

It’s been rough, but we’ve made it through! Bedtime & naps still mostly have tears for at least 4 minutes, sometimes more. Except the one night where she miraculously just laid down and fell asleep. I think angels sang. Hasn’t happened again. But for the most part we’re adjusting to the new routine.

Now mommy is trying to plan Madi’s first Halloween costume, first birthday, and yes…we even have her first Christmas party on the calendar 😉 Time is flying. I need to fit more snuggles in there somehow before I turn around and she’s a teenager.

Madi & her I Sew Lucky owl 🙂

Standing. Because it’s what she does.

Love how her eyes sparkle.

Don’t love that she now knows how to pick her nose. Keepin it real.

Love.

She is such a doll!! It sure does go so fast. My oldest will be 5 in a few weeks and I’m having a hard time accepting that! 😉
