I took Mother’s Day for granted before I became a mom. It was a day to celebrate, absolutely, but I didn’t understand how motherhood is more than a full time job. It’s unending. It’s sleepless nights long after the kiddos start sleeping through the night. It’s a mix of joy and sadness as you watch your little one grow more independent. It’s rejoicing with, weeping for – it’s hugs and cups of tea and watching your own motherhood journey through the eyes of your own mother as she looks with love at your daughter.
Here are some of my favorite potential Mother’s Day gifts this year, because sometimes a community just needs to be about sharing a few of our favorite things 😉
(some affiliate links included)
Origami Owl Necklaces – discovered these at Raising Generations Today and fell in love with all the options!
Lisa Leonard “Mama” Necklace from DaySpring – one of my favorites!
Karen Kingsbury Set from DaySpring – isn’t it just gorgeous & lovely?
Donate to Support Another Mother – the gift that keeps giving!
Table Runner from Shutterfly – how fun is this?
StitchFix Giftcard – because who doesn’t need a personal shopper?
Herringbone Throw from Zestt – I’m weak for anything soft & cozy 🙂
