There was this tiny idea a few months ago, to ask some “famous” mamas that I admire to share a word of encouragement for our new/expectant moms (in)couragers group.
This week I received this video from Kat Lee. Not only does she have the exact same name as my sister (so fun!), she was literally the first person I met at Allume and has the most authentically sweet personality. You feel like you just received a warm hug after you spend 5 minutes with her. She’s also a phenomenal writer, with eBooks (one of which inspired the Hello Mornings community) and Inspired to Action, her blog.
The funny thing about this video? My plans were to have something to encourage our group. God’s plans were for Kat to speak grace and wisdom to my heart.

Thanks for sharing this, Crystal! I appreciate Kat’s heart so very much. One of the best pieces of advice that I received when I was preparing to be an RA in college was “the best thing you can do for the girls on your floor is love God with all your heart”. Those words still ring true for me now as a mama. It seems so simple, but it is so profound! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!!
