The Silver Lining

Everyday faith

After some insanely stressful months at work, I finally feel like I’m getting my feet back under me. Too much time doing the “duck” (you know…calm on the surface, paddling like crazy under the water) has made me feel a little bit insane. In the last two days, things have started to turn around, and on top of it all, I have two VERY exciting things to look forward to:

1) Beth Moore is doing her 3rd “Siesta Summer Bible Study” on her blog, and I just KNOW she had me in mind when she picked it. Haha…ok, maybe not. But the study she chose, Kelly Minter’s “Ruth” almost came home with me the last time I was at Lifeway, so I’m beyond excited to start it in June with my siestas 😀

2) Matt & I are escaping for a weekend away this weekend! We’re not going far, just to the guest house of some dear church family, but I am really looking forward to it! Sleeping in, no agenda, just quality time with Matt. Well, and maybe a trip to Gettysburg to snap some photos. Oh and we have to make appetizers for the youth group progressive dinner. But other than that….haha….

My Word from God this week: “Be Quiet.” Not kidding. He meant it in the “shut up” kind of way, and He gives great advice 😉
