posted this the other day on Lisa Jo’s Facebook…where I usually write…and yes, that is our Christmas tree on our dining room table. We have a toddler and 2 cats. |
It’s been quiet here lately.
I’m going through a season of refining right now. It’s good, and necessary, but leaving me feeling empty.
Empty doesn’t exactly lend itself to creativity.
And no creativity means no words, no words means no blogging.
I also have some amazing new things going on, like helping with the (in)courager community groups over at (in)courage. It’s an unbelievable blessing and I couldn’t be more thankful.
Oh. And I have bronchitis.
So for now, it’ll be quieter than usual. Except for all the coughing. But I’ll be back soon 🙂
Dear friend, I hope you are feeling better! I’m so excited to see what’s just over the horizontal for you. All the house cleaning is no fun, but makes it so much better when the party gets started. 🙂
Oh I just love that! Hope in the emptiness, exactly the words I needed to be reminded of today. Thank you!
Hope you’re feeling better, Crystal! I told a friend the other day I felt empty too and she reminded me that when God empties us out it’s because He’s getting ready to pour new things in and through us. Looking forward to seeing what that is in 2013 with you!
