It’s worship, isn’t it? When women join over laughter, too many references to cupcakes, and a love for Jesus? It’s a beautiful thing to see the heartbeat of God through the smiles and testimonies of the brave ones, the community builders who go first and go big so that women feel safe. There were no fancy lights, no hands raised, eyes closed, voices singing loud – just women being together in the presence of God doing what He called them to do. Watching and testifying as the Holy Spirit shows up in surprising ways.
That’s worship. Unscripted. The body of Christ coming together to serve and love and pour into simply because that is how they are made and they can’t help but do anything else. Sisters standing shoulder to shoulder, breaking all the rules of cliques, moving over with welcoming hugs to make room for one more. And one more. And one more.
Because when it comes to worship? When it comes to bowing low before the King to honor Him with our gifts? There’s no room for platforms or pedestals…only praise.

Yes. It is worship. I can tell you, His presence was strong…through talk of important dates and registration..and back to cupcakes again. It overwhelmed me and I sat in silence as I listened and watched and I whispered my “thank you for this” to Him. Because He is too good. Because this community came as a “Yes” answer to my own prayer. <3
I know I say it all the time, but I love this. Makes me all teary to think of these women I stand shoulder to shoulder with. I am just finding this new passion for encouraging others instead of fawning over myself… and it’s in large part to the community I’ve found here and through you and so many others! Now I want a cupcake…

Oh so beautiful! It makes me think of the Women’s Retreat we had while I was in Guatemala. Women from different countries who don’t even speak the same language but we were able to come together and worship Him. It’s a day I will never forget. Blessings to you.
