Last week I introduced you to Erin and this week I want to introduce you to another amazing woman that I first met online – Stacey Thacker. Stacey is the beautiful {seriously. her hair.} mama of 4 girls, author of Being Okay With Where You Are, co-author of Hope For The Weary Mom, founder of Mothers of Daughters, and one of my favorite women on the internet.
Stacey and I first connected through the (in)courage community groups when they first started in 2012, but to be honest I’d be following her for awhile because of Hope. That book came into my life at just the right time, in a season where I felt all the new-mom weariness, the constant struggle to adjust to a new lifestyle of being needed constantly by another human, and it gave me…hope. I felt like someone was finally saying “Yes, this mama thing is hard. Here’s where we’ve been – now we’re not going to leave you there in that pit. Come find hope with us.”
This woman? Y’all, no one else has taught me to speak with grace and love and encouragement like she has. She is the most loving, funny, authentic woman and I have been so blessed to work alongside her – but even more to call her a friend. The work she does to encourage and equip mothers of daughters has made me a better mama – and given me an outlet to share and encourage other moms. Stacey genuinely cares for others in a way that brings light and joy to the internet. She has prayed me through some incredibly hard times, cheered for me, encouraged me, and loved me.
Oh and the girl can SING. While I’m of the “joyful noise” crowd, God has blessed Stacey with a powerful voice – not only in her writing but in her worship.

I’d love to know – which friend has God brought into your life through social media?
Stacey Thacker says
And I’m crying again. You have blessed me more than you know sweet Crystal girl! What God does through you saving seats for women all over this inernet-thing is all beauty.
I am just so glad God made us sister friends.
He knew I needed you in my life!

Stacey
