The only thing missing from this trip were Dan, Katrina & Isabella. We had a great, relaxing time away – so blessed by the hospitality of a coworker who owns a G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S condo at Rehoboth. If I could, I would pick up the kitchen and move it into my own house. Granite counter tops, beautiful cabinets, fantastic appliances. Le sigh.
We shopped until we dropped, ate some incredible food (here and here), had some homemade ice cream, found the most amazing bakery (The Point), went to the beach, napped, read books, and had a fantastic time. Note that I didn’t mention sleeping in. We decided to get up at 6 every morning to be the crowds & the heat at the beach. Which worked well. Except that I’m super super tired now. Can I get a vacation from our vacation? Seriously though, the whole trip was a blessing. We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather or nicer people. Praying that we’ll be able to bring the whole family, including the baby, next year. Who doesn’t want to vacation with a 7 month old? Oh wait. Um. Yeah.
How gorgeous is this?
And now for some collage fun 🙂
