Heavenly Father, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and look toward the end of another year, may we have hearts that see those who need to know Your love – instead of eyes focused on our to-do lists. Help us not to look back in regret, or anticipate what’s yet to come, but to simply be still and present before You.
Thank You for all the moments You’ve walked us through this past year. You were our strength when we were weak, You were our hope in times of sorrow, You were our peace in times of uncertainty. You were our joy when we celebrated, and You never missed a moment. We praise and honor You for every experience, for keeping every promise, and for Your plans that are far bigger and better than anything we could possibly imagine.
May every step of the next year be taken side-by-side with You as we walk confidently into a new year knowing that – no matter what happens – You will be there with us. You are our rock and our protector. Thank You for including us in Your beautiful plans. May we be courageous to share Your Truth and love with those You brought into our lives, and may we see interruptions as opportunities to help others feel seen, heard, and wanted – the same way You promise to see, hear, and invite us in.
Father, for the holy hustlers I pray that You would help us to find moments each day to slow down and connect with You. Help us to lay down anything that comes before You – our work, our titles, the false things in which we place our security. And for those of us who might feel unsure about the worth of our work, I pray that You might inspire and encourage our hearts so that we might continue to work with passion and pride, knowing that all that we do is for You and Your kingdom.
Thank You, Jesus, for all the lessons we’ve learned this year. May our eyes remain open and our hearts aware of Your presence in the coming year so we don’t miss a single opportunity to grow closer to You and to know You more.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
~ Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year friends!
xoxo,
Crystal
Thank you! I needed that.
