I also wanted to share this Periscope video with you in case you missed it last week. I gave a quick video tour of our Christmas decor because I’ve learned over the years that I don’t take great photos of our decorations. Plus, I wanted to give you some helpful tips & tricks in case you wanted to hang wreaths outside your windows – but were afraid you’d need a huge ladder. Or you have a wreath that bumps around on your front door and need a solution to secure it in place – I’ve got that for you. And here are some links to some of the things you’ll see in the video (affiliate links included):
- Curtain Lights
- Large suction cups
- Tissue Snowflakes
- Ann Voskamp Ornaments
- Christmas Stockings
- Willow Tree Nativity
- Pre-lit Outdoor Trees
Hopefully you’ve had a wonderful weekend with friends and family and your heart is ready to enter into the Christmas season. I have a couple Advent ideas that we’ll be starting tomorrow (including our 2nd Lego Advent Calendar!) but I’d love to hear what you’re planning to do!
For Advent we are doing Truth in the Tinsel and are also doing the Lego Advent Calendar. Last year we did the City one and this year we have gone for the Lego Friends one. We are doing a family devotion from “Unwrapping the Names of Jesus” by Asheritah Ciuciu and lighting the Advent wreath candles each Sunday. LOVE Advent and Christmas. I also do a few Kindness Angel activities with my daughter inspired by the Kindness Elves idea from the Imagination Tree. Love the opportunity to get us all focusing on others.
