I can’t believe I haven’t already written this post! Oy…time flies. Anyway – for my mom’s birthday we purchased tickets to see Straight No Chaser in Gettysburg. You’ve heard of them, right? Amazing. I have a small thing for a capella groups, and these guys are the best. Their Christmas CD is one of my favorites – I play it pretty much non-stop between Thanksgiving and Christmas 🙂
Anyway – the concert was fantastic and we had such a wonderful time with mom, celebrating her birthday. The concert was outside and thankfully it didn’t rain. Although I may not have minded, since it was about 100 degrees outside and my lovely pregnant feet decided to puff up. Neither here nor there. Things I’m going to have to get used to!
One of the best parts about the concert, other than listening to a group of amazingly talented guys sing fantastic songs, was that they encouraged people to take photos & video! I love that they embraced social media as a way to get new fans, and it made for such a relaxing atmosphere. Not that I took my camera. Oh no. That would have been logical. Lucky for me (and you!), I was able to find a video of one of my favorite songs that they did that night – the Cartoon Medley!
