She answered the completely desperate email of a broken mama who just lost a baby and didn’t think the world would ever be right again. She kindly allowed this mama to awkwardly introduce myself at Allume, and then remembered my name and invited me over for conversation when she saw me sitting alone. She held open the door to a team of 99 God Sized Dreamers and invited me in, and gave me the encouragement to take that first hard step. She believed in me.
Holley Gerth, author, life coach, and someone I am honored to have met in real life last year, has a marvelous new book out: “You’re Made for a God-Sized Dream: Opening the Door to All God Has for You.” You need to buy this book. You will feel like you’re sitting for coffee with a sweet friend, chatting about the dreams you’ve had since childhood. Or maybe I’m the only one who had a revelation that this thing I do? Blogging? It’s not too far from the dream I had as a little girl to grow up and be a writer.
Maybe that dream included a cute apartment in New York City and a closet of fabulous shoes and not life with a toddler in rural PA, but you know..most of it’s the same.
