There are two things in this world that make my heart skip a beat in pure joy.
The dollar section at Target.
And office supplies.
So when I wandered through the other day and found to my surprise & delight the cutest office supplies in the world IN THE DOLLAR SECTION…y’all…it was meant to be. The chevron. The totes adorbs patterns (disclaimer: before you hate me for saying that, just go watch The Lizzie Bennet Diaries?). The glitter glue.
Uh.
Oh yes.
I went there.
So $8, some already fantastic containers and a bottle of glitter glue later, I was ready to get my craft on. I don’t really craft. I wish I did. I look longingly at Pinterest and then realize..let’s be honest..I’m more likely to have my works of art on a “pinstrosity” website.
I’m not really sure what made me want to put glitter glue on something that was already pretty awesome all on it’s own, but…y’all. It’s glitter. And my brain needed a break from all. the. work. I’d give you the “how to” but since I’m pretty sure my 3 year old niece could do this with no instructions, I’m going to spare you (literally..open glue…have fun…take pictures).

And yes..I realize these photos are sad. I promise that chevron pencil cup has glitter on it. Look closely. Mama needs a new camera. Or better photography skills.

Heheh I totally drooled over these exact boxes the other day! Ended up just taking home the pink/gold dot one to hold my co-worker’s birthday surprise. Love them!!!
