Hey there! It’s time for another round of what I’m loving this week. So far I have a big list of things I haven’t loved this week, like my husband sharing his cold with me and wasting time at the DMV. I AM loving the warmer weather we’ve been having, but I can’t exactly link you to anything for that. I’m just glad the end of our cabin fever is in sight.
If you need me, I’ll be over here under a pile of tissues, vitamin c, and mugs of tea. some affiliate links are used below.
Grand Point Church Podcast – For years I’ve had friends encouraging me to start a podcast. I never wanted to, because I LOVE being a guest on podcasts and the tech side of it all was very intimidating. But over the past few weeks I’ve figured some things out and launched a podcast for my mostly-full-time job as the Communications Director at my church. So now you can enjoy me, as your host, and some amazing sermon series that you can listen to on your commute, as you do laundry, or at the soccer field. The podcast is available on iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, Spotify, and anywhere you listen to your other podcasts!
Fairy Tale Reform School Series – I know, another middle grade series, but I read the first one in one sitting at the DMV. The protagonist is a spunky, smart girl who learns pretty quickly that working with a team is much better than getting all the praise on her own.
Sparkly Purple Shoes from Target – Madi and I were at Target the other week and she spotted these super cute shoes. She’d been looking for some slip-on sneakers for awhile but is apparently picky about her style now. 7 going on 17, I think. Anyway, she tried them on in the store, waddled around with them still attached (why do stores do that? The string between the shoes? It’s impossible to actually TRY on a shoe), and I bought them online because they were 25% off. They’re a perfect little springtime sneaker.
Pikmi Pop Donut – So most of my favorites are apparently pretty kid related this week. Over Christmas Madi received several Pikmi Pops and loved them. She has a giant pink kitty she sleeps with every night, and when she found out they now had donuts? Well. It went to the top of her Easter wishlist. So a donut-shaped hedgehog will be in her Easter basket next month…because I’m pretty sure I like them as much as she does!
Soft Brushed Coat from Old Navy – Today Old Navy has 40% off everything on their website, which made it the perfect time for me to FINALLY grab this coat. It’s so crazy soft and I loved it when I saw it in person months ago. But the regular price is a little too much for me. I think it will be perfect for work and casual enough for a chilly spring day.
Those are the favorites for this week! Now I’m off to crank up some Dropkick Murphys in honor of St. Patrick’s Day and work on the next episode of the podcast.
Happy Friday!
