I had a lot of fun sharing a few favorites last week, and even more fun hearing from so many of you about the things you’ve been loving! I’m heading away this weekend for a little self-imposed writing retreat to try to make some progress on a few projects that have me feeling pretty overwhelmed. So…sharing a few fun favorites today is definitely making my brain happy.
Transform:20 – I’ll be honest, I don’t know if this is a favorite as much as a necessary evil. It’s been too long since I’ve committed to any kind of workout program, but it’s hard to find an excuse not to do a 20 minute workout.
Oversized Chenille Sweater from Target – This is technically from the juniors section and their new “Wild Fable” collection, but it’s SO soft I couldn’t resist. The blue is beautiful, the fabric is soft and cozy, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be living in it all winter. And spring. And probably on chilly summer evenings and in the fall, too.
She Works His Way – I’ve joined several membership groups over the years and tend to lose interest pretty quickly. Either I discover that I could be the one teaching it, it’s not what it said it would be, or the community feels like a big clique. The teaching, encouragement, and resources from SWHW are incredible and keep me focused on my holy hustle.
Diamond Art – Writing used to be the hobby that relaxed me. I could unwind in front of an episode of Project Runway while I wrote a blog post. But now it all just feels like work, so I’ve had to find new creative outlets. Over the summer it was paint-by-number artwork and now? Diamond art. I have my mom to thank for introducing me to this one. It’s very relaxing to stick little sparkly dots on a canvas and make a beautiful picture. Plus, it’s a pretty inexpensive craft if you find the right kit!
The Final Table – I needed a fun show to watch on Netflix and the algorithm suggested The Final Table. Something about this show completely pulled at my heartstrings. I loved the teams of chefs, the culture, the food, the back stories. My “restaurants to visit” bucket list is now much, much longer.
That’s the list for this week! Don’t forget to send me your favorites – maybe over on Instagram, while you follow along with my February #lovecomesfromGod series?
