I believe we can work hard without shame and rest well without guilt as we use our gifts to honor God.
I call it “holy hustle.” I love to teach, encourage, and inspire others through storytelling. Whether I’m drawing on motherhood, my years of corporate life, my work in ministry, or a new stage God has me in, I want you to know that you are exactly where God needs you, your work matters, and you are the best one for the job. When we work for God’s glory & not our own, we can make a powerful difference in the lives of those around us.
What Else Do You Do?
Other than drinking far too much coffee, I’m an author (Holy Hustle and Work Hard, Rest Well), editor (Craving Connection), freelance communications consultant, and writing challenge host (Write 31 Days). It’s a lot, right? I know I’m not alone in my crazy life with all the ideas, which is why I love to share what I know. I want to make life easier for you by sharing what I’ve learned, what I love, and what it looks like in my life on the most gloriously ordinary days. I’m also a mama to a daughter, married to my high school sweetheart, and live in the same small town I grew up in, so I bring a pretty interesting perspective to my writing and speaking.

I don’t claim to be an expert, but a friend. I still blog because I love it, but you’ll usually find me over on Instagram sharing some pretty authentic peeks into our life and coming up with new and interesting ways to invite you to join me on this journey. I like the company and connecting with people all over the world!
