GO:
Can we just pause for a moment and discuss the extraordinary amount of unnecessary letters in the word “rhythm?” I will never. in my life. spell that correctly the first time. Amen.
Our rhythm has slowed. Days of juggling jobs and daycare have turned into a blessed time of quiet. The fast pace has been replaced with something peaceful. Something unexpected and beautiful. It’s a summer season, a summer rhythm of naps, laughter, warm days by the pool and cool nights craving s’mores. I haven’t had one of these seasons in a very very long time.
God has redeemed my story and blessed me with this new song. Fear and anxiety have been covered with the melody of His healing hand, mercies new every morning, sweet blessings and provision beyond our wildest expectations. It’s in this new song of our life that we’re finding our rhythm.
Trust God
Love one another
Trust God
Love one another
On repeat until it becomes a harmony sung by a family who knows no other way. It is joyful noise.
