Maybe you’ve noticed, but I keep talking a lot about faith & fitness this year. God has given me an unexpected opportunity to use my love for encouraging and equipping others in a way that is so perfect for my current season of life. In March of this year I took a scary first step and purchased my very first Beachbody challenge pack and spent the month trying to survive the 21 Day Fix.
I liked the workouts. But eating clean and re-learning appropriate portion sizes? That was hard. But at the end of the month I saw results, and even more than what the scale was telling me, I was loving how I felt. I had energy, I was starting to enjoy eating healthy food, and my family was starting to benefit from my good choices. I’d replaced some bad habits with good ones, and I was excited to invite other women into the journey with me.
I wasn’t at my final goal, and I’m still not, but I knew I was going to be talking about what God was doing through this fitness journey and I wanted a way to tell others how they could be part of it too.
So I became a Beachbody coach. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was getting myself into, but I knew that my love of combining faith & fitness was about to become a lifestyle, so I figured it was worth trying. And I love it. I love my team, the women who have joined me, and the women who have done the challenge groups with me this year.
It’s ultimately not about selling products for me, but about equipping people with the right tools to take their next step on their fitness journey and offering accountability & encouragement for their faith journey at the same time.
But that’s only a little bit about why I’m a coach. If you want to hear more, I’ve recorded a that I’ll be sharing exclusively with email subscribers about more of my story, what it means to be a coach, how to sign up, how much it costs, how much time it takes, and how to squish those excuses & doubts you might have about your abilities. This won’t go out to my blog subscribers, so you’ll want to make sure you to receive the emails, starting December 14th.
My heart behind this series is to hopefully encourage two or three of you who might be considering coaching to sign up before the end of the year & join our team, so we can equip & empower you to do what God has called you to in 2016. And I’m here for you as a resource if you have other questions – just visit my Coaching page and ask me anything!
