Celebration of Life

Were asking why this happens to us

Who have died to live, it’s unfair

Those lyrics were part of a celebration of life for a local high school student who was sadly taken from our community after a car accident last week. I only knew him for a few brief months through a project at work and my heart aches for his friends and family. The celebration of his life was incredible – literally hundreds of friends and family and classmates came to honor his life. Our ministry had the privilege and honor to be asked to provide worship music and some wonderful speakers shared God’s love. I couldn’t be more proud of the youth in our church, and the love they’ve shown one another.

I’m so thankful to know that God comforts, and He is good, all the time. Praying peace and healing over the broken pieces as our community works through this time.
