Time Management Tip: Spend time with God
The work that you’ve been given, whether it’s keeping little people alive or running board meetings, creating inspiring artwork or caring for those who are less fortunate – it matters. It matters to the people you serve and it matters to God. But in order to stay focused on the work you’ve been entrusted with and avoid feeling overwhelmed by ALL the choices and opportunities, we need to trust our day to God. To be honest, I’m not a morning person. I’ve failed at HelloMornings several times. But choosing to spend a few minutes with God before my day begins, whether it’s 5 minutes or 45 minutes, is like meeting a trusted friend at the coffee pot – the kind of friend who can put peace and perspective in my heart.
Inspiration: “Spending time with God is the key to our strength and success in all areas of life. Be sure that you never try to work God into your schedule, but always work your schedule around Him.” – Joyce Meyer

This book is a truly beautiful way to start your morning. I love Ruth’s art and this book is full of it – and speaks specifically to all the different seasons we find ourselves in. It would also make a wonderful gift for a friend if you’re already thinking about Christmas gifts.
