So she warned me before we started talking that she would be ok if I chose not to use this video, because she wasn’t sure y’all were up for a comedy performance 🙂 You knew I was DEFINITELY going to use it after that, right? I don’t think encouragement is supposed to be stuffy and formal – why not have fun and laugh a little bit? I will tell you right now that Christine Wright is a blast to talk to, which is why this video is a little on the longer side. I would apologize, but in between the two of us being …well…ourselves..there is some serious wisdom that she shares and I didn’t want you to miss out on any of it.
We’re talking about crazy faces, leaps of faith, and everything in between. One of my favorite quotes from the video is when Christine says “I might be the crazy lady praying outside Panera, but I’m partnering with God!” Amen! Sometimes our leaps of faith make other people look at us strangely, but I would rather work for God’s kingdom than the approval of others.
I want to encourage you before you look at the topic for this one and think “God isn’t asking me to do anything big, so this one isn’t for me.” Leaps of faith aren’t about size. They’re about obedience. And even the smallest leap of faith can feel like we’re attempting to cross the Grand Canyon without a net. But we hope that you hear our hearts when we say with confidence that God has gone before you, He’s walking beside you, and He’s coming behind you. He’s got this – and you can do it!

Life Coaches:
- Jacque Watkins has put together an amazing list of life coaches on this podcast post that I did with her!

I haven’t yet finished this podcast, but wanted to say how much I appreciated what you said, Crystal! I love what you shared about your relationship with God. How that you don’t even call it ‘quiet time’ and that it looks different each day – different times, different ways of connecting, etc. SO appreciated your honesty in saying that you mix it up so that you don’t get bored – how refreshing this was to hear! This made me think of my relationships with friends/family. If I had a list to run down each day of things to check off to show my love for my husband, for instance, this simply would not feel genuine to me. As someone who can become frustrated with Christian jargon and the list of legalistic ‘must do’s’ to have a relationship with Christ, I just want to say THANK YOU 😉
This was amazing to watch and listen to!
