Over the years I’ve had several Bibles. Women’s Study Bibles. Couples Devotional Bibles. Chronological Bibles and Stewardship Bibles. But the season I’m in now has me craving Biblical leadership teaching. I’m running my own business, I’m working as a social media manager, community manager, marketer, virtual assistant, and community builder. I am raising a child and looking to take my family, my writing, my business, my God Sized Dreams from good to great. There are some amazing books about leadership, but this Bible? The NIV Leadership Bible? Goodness it hits home for me.
In addition to just being a beautiful NIV Bible, it also includes fifty-two study pages that focus on a variety of leadership categories like leader qualifications, encouragement, servant leadership, conflict management, and team building, all in the context of Scripture.
I’ve been writing my way through the book of John as I do my HelloMornings study and have been so blessed to use this Bible the last several weeks as I do that. Each page includes little call out boxes with “Insights” that connect with different leadership skills, and I can’t wait to share these with our (in)courager community group leaders as we encourage and raise them up as strong leaders for Christ. This is a beautiful Bible and one I know I’ll go to over and over as God continues to open doors to leadership roles for me.
